Caribbean Stud Poker is based on five card stud poker. It is the first casino table game to offer a progressive payout.
BETS
Make a bet in the Ante Box.
THE DEAL
You will receive five cards face down and the dealer will receive four cards face down and one card face up.
THE PLAY
To participate in the Progressive Jackpot, drop a dollar chip into the slot in front of the Ante Box. Players win all or part of the jackpot with hands of Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four-of-a-Kind, Full House or Flush.
If a player feels he has a hand which will beat the Dealer's hand, he will bet exactly twice the amount of the Ante Bet. If the player does not feel he has a strong enough hand to beat the dealer, he will fold and lose the Ante Bet and Progressive Bet. The dealer must have an ace, king, or higher to continue. If the dealer cannot open with at least ace/king, the hand is over and the dealer will collect the cards and pay even money on the Ante Bets to players who stayed in the hand. If the dealer qualifies with an ace/king or higher and the player's hand beats the dealer's hand, the player will be paid 1 to 1 on the Ante Bet and a bonus amount on the bet.
These payoffs are normal table payoffs and are in addition to the Progressive Jackpot payoff. If the dealer and the player have the same hand, the remaining cards in the hand are considered and the highest hand wins. Suits are not counted. If all cards are equal, the hand is tied or void and no action is taken.
